Thank you for visiting SpanishGED.org.
For the 50% of the Hispanic population that does not have a high school diploma, the General Education Development (GED) certificate is truly a second chance. And now that it is given in Spanish, those with limited English ability can take advantage of one of the most powerful ways to enjoy a better future.
Not only do high school dropouts earn about $260,000 less over their lifetimes, but they suffer chronic unemployment and under-employment. A GED certificate makes it possible for those that didn't complete their educations to earn higher salaries, enjoy an improved standards of living, and even to go on to college.
The Spanish language GED program described on these pages is one of the finest programs available to help prepare Hispanic students to pass the GED. Its been called "simply outstanding" by a prominent library publication.
I'm certain you’ll agree that it is a very tiny investment that can have enormous returns.
Sincerely,
Marcelo Podesta, Associate Director
