Hosting

Set up, Installation and Maintenance

There are a variety of solutions for hosting your site. Depending on the complexity and purpose of your site-- informational or ecommerce, different hosting options are optimal.

For a very cost effective solution-- domain registration, hosting, merchant services-- check out TLCIwebsites. You can sign up yourself, or I can do it for you. Hosting will run aproximately $60 /year; less if you purchase multiple years (which is also better for Search Engines).

Alternately, I can house your site on the TLCI/Thunderstone server for between $600 and $2400/yr depending on number of pages, graphics, and use of database, site registration, and other considerations. This is recommended for large sites requiring a lot of interactions with databases-- ie directories, sites with over 100 products, a variety of database and reporting requirements.

  • The TLCI server is maintained by Thunderstone Data Services. All Data Services sites include usage licenses to both Texis and Webinator.


Special Events

Wedding Sites

A wedding site will cost between $275 and $700 to create, depending upon complexity of pages requested; it will be supported for 6 months. Standard pages include: Wedding Invitation, Where to Stay, Directions, RSVP, List of Links to sites where Bride and Groom are Registered.
